24 Aug THE WORKS OF THE SECOND PHASE OF THE BEACH OF LOS HORNOS HAVE BEEN FINALIZED
With the completion of the new jetty in the prolongation of Punta de Los Hornos, the works of the second phase of the beach of Los Hornos, in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, on the island of Fuerteventura (Spain), are completed. The project, with a budget of € 503.539,22, aims to expand the beach of Los Hornos to the south, to keep the beach in use and mitigate the effects of the works to expand the port. The works consisted in the construction of a natural riprap breakwater of 160 meters of length. This project, promoted by the Port Authority of Las Palmas, was drafted by TRAMA. The construction management of the works was handled by the Port Authority.
