13 Oct THE WORKS OF THE ASTICAN WAREHOUSE WILL BE INAUGURATED IN NOVEMBER
The construction work of the workshop warehouse in the ASTICAN shipyard in the port of Las Palmas (Spain) has finished, meeting the expected deadlines.
The works, with a budget of € 3.994.410,73, consisted of the construction of a warehouse of metal structure for the manipulation and repair of large pieces of ships and platforms (thrusters or azimuthal propellers). The building, with rectangular floor plan, has an area of 2011 square meters, 22 meters high and has an integrated office module. The foundation was solved with micropiles of reinforced concrete.
The company that will operate these facilities is the multinational Rolls-Royce, which is proceeding to the implantation of the equipment and workshop machinery and it is expected that at the beginning of November is operative.
The construction works have been carried out by SATOCAN under the construction management of TRAMA.
